Breaking: IRS Whistleblower Facing Prison Time After Exposing Hunter Biden

Concerns about the probable incarceration of an Internal Revenue Service whistleblower have been expressed by Hunter Biden’s legal counsel. This whistleblower came forward to reveal what they believed to be obstruction by officials inside the Biden Justice Department of the inquiry they oversaw.

The important chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO), has received a letter from Abbe Lowell, the attorney for President Joe Biden’s son. Lowell charges the lawmaker with breaking the law by allowing IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley to reveal secret sources.

“Mr. Shapley may be reaping the ‘reward’ from the cover you have given him, considering the penalties for agents illegally leaking this type of information,” Lowell composed. In addition, he said that Shapley is a “disgruntled” worker trying to “evade his own misconduct” in relation to media disclosures about the DOJ’s probe into his client.

Rep. Smith disclosed the transcripts of the depositions of whistleblowers Shapley and another last week, who said that Hunter Biden had been given “preferential treatment.” Hunter Biden pleaded guilty in this case to two charges of tax fraud and one count of criminal weapon possession while under the influence of a controlled drug.

The validity of the Whatsapp exchanges revealed during the House probe was roundly rejected by Lowell, who called them “complete fakes.” He did not, however, challenge the veracity of the claims made by Hunter Biden in those communications. It’s intriguing how these texts appear to link President Biden to specific business operations that the IRS was looking into.

In her letter, Lowell draws attention to the likelihood that Shapley and the other whistleblower were not fully aware of the repercussions of making false statements to federal investigators, including the risk of incarceration. However, it is clear from the House transcripts that both IRS officers were aware of how dangerous it is to provide false evidence under oath.

Due to evidence that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland did nothing to assist with prosecuting the Biden son in New Jersey and Los Angeles, both districts where liberal U.S. attorneys declined to bring charges, opponents of Hunter Biden’s plea deal are pleading with a judge to reject the agreement. Garland inadvertently interfered with David Weiss’s capacity to prosecute Hunter Biden for tax offenses by refusing to give Weiss special counsel authority. Weiss allegedly said he would not be the “deciding official” in determining whether to prosecute Hunter Biden, according to Shapley, the IRS whistleblower.
