Wow! Witness History As Small Town Gathers 50k For Trump

The campaign rally for Donald Trump in Pickens, a town in South Carolina with a population of just 3,400, attracted a lot of interest and support. According to Fox News, the former president spoke to an amazing throng of more than 50,000 rally goers. He is also the top Republican candidate for the 2024 election. There were fervent fans lining the streets of this little southern town. The town’s police chief, Randal Beach, estimated that there were “somewhere between 50-55,000” people there.

Trump remarked during the rally “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be to kick off the Fourth of July weekend than right here on Main Street, with thousands of hardworking South Carolina patriots who believe in God, family and country.” The first southern state to have a presidential primary is South Carolina. “None of the other candidates in the race, however, drew an audience like Trump, who continues to dominate in 2024 polls” Fox News acknowledges. Despite the legal action taken against the former president, this display of support for Trump has not decreased.

The event, which was expected to draw 30,000 people, drew participants from neighboring states in addition to South Carolina. Greg Pressley and his wife Robin went above and beyond by traveling three hours from Tennessee to the event to meet Trump in person. “Donald Trump’s the best president in history…I love his policies. I love the man. I’m here to support him getting back to where he needs to be, to begin with” said Greg.

Trump referred to the occasion as “a great day in Pickens!” using his social media app, Truth Social, and posted a message from Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC), who said that there were “a total of 75,000 people” attempting to enter the rally.

Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) received a cold reaction from the audience in contrast to Trump, who was booed both before and after the senator’s remarks. According to an RSBN reporter, “They booed him when he arrived and they booed him when he left. At no point did they cheer for him. At one point they even started chanting ‘Traitor.’ They believe he has sold them out…The people of South Carolina really did not like him.”

Senator Graham is frequently linked to the Republican party’s neoconservative side, which has come under fire for its involvement in the nation’s continuing wars and their effects. Trump, on the other hand, is seen as being apart from that group. Graham also adopted a different posture from Trump about the approval vote for the 2020 election.
