As Ron DeSantis launches an unexpected attack on Donald Trump, get ready for a political fight. The protection is gone!
With a daring move, Donald Trump sparks the GOP presidential nomination contest for 2024.
In an interview with The Messenger, Trump chastises DeSantis for approving “too harsh” Pro-Life legislation that outlaws abortion when a heartbeat is found at six weeks.
“He has to do what he has to do,” Trump declared. “If you look at what DeSantis did, a lot of people don’t even know if he knew what he was doing. But he signed six weeks, and many people within the pro-life movement feel that that was too harsh.”
Given that he chose the Supreme Court justices who ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade, conservatives were perplexed when the former president of the United States came out against pro-life legislation.
DeSantis supports the legislation, pointing out that 99 percent of pro-lifers agree that once a baby’s heartbeat is recognized by medical professionals, they should be protected against abortion.
“Protecting an unborn child when there’s the detectable heartbeat is something that almost, probably, 99% of pro-lifers support,” DeSantis stated.

DeSantis sided with Kim Reynolds, the governor of Iowa, since they both supported and supported the six-week heartbeat law.
“It’s something that other states like Iowa under Governor Kim Reynolds have enacted,” DeSantis added.
In the fight for a presidential candidacy, winning the Iowa caucuses—where Pro-Life Evangelical Christians have considerable influence—is essential.
DeSantis criticizes Trump for avoiding a question about approving the six-week heartbeat law.
“As a Florida resident, you know, he didn’t give an answer about, ‘would you have signed the heartbeat bill that Florida did?’” DeSantis declared. “That had all the exceptions that people talk about the legislature put it in.”
The heartbeat measure was signed by DeSantis, who declared himself “proud” of his dedication to life protection.
“I signed the bill. I was proud to do it. He won’t answer whether he would sign it or not,” DeSantis concluded.
In the very heated Iowa Caucus, DeSantis is looking for a huge victory.
If Trump wins in Iowa, his campaign might take off in an unstoppable direction toward the nomination.
Trump’s main justification, that the party must back him since he is a guaranteed nominee, would be destroyed by a DeSantis victory.
