Tucker Vs. Fox News: What Megyn Kelly Said

Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News personality, recently gave advice on how to handle his departure from the network to another former coworker. Kelly is advising Carlson on how to handle this new trip using their combined experience and knowledge acquired while working at Fox News.

Megyn Kelly, host of the well-liked “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast on Sirius XM, influenced Tucker Carlson to leave Fox News by permitting them to sue him. She advised him to fearlessly “walk away” from what would have been an impossible position rather than to hold on.

“Tucker should walk away & forfeit the pay. Let Fox take him to court over the sole issue of silencing him for the rest of the election season (!)-the man they fired & smeared relentlessly while he stayed silent,” she said. “See how their dwindling audience repays them for that.”

When he presented the provocative question of whether Tucker Carlson might break his contract with CNN, which runs through 2025, Brian Stelter prompted discussion.

“Carlson is subject to a ‘pay or play’ clause, which means Fox doesn’t have to ‘play’ him on air, they just have to pay him for the remainder of his contract. That’s what the exit negotiation is about: Will Fox let him out on relatively permissive terms?” he said.

Kelly has expressed severe criticism of her old network’s handling of Carlson’s departure and has been extremely outspoken about it.

She harshly slammed Irena Briganti of FOX News and their campaign against Carlson, calling it a “drip, drip, drip” effort that will ultimately fail.

“Meanwhile, Media Matters for America releases another mysterious outtake of Tucker onset speaking frankly. This happened last week. Two videos were released. By whoever could it be, Irena [Briganti]?” Chaya Raichik, the originator of Libs of TikTok, was addressed by the host.

“So they first leaked to the New York Times,” she said. “This is my supposition for the record because it has yet to be confirmed but I know it is them. And I know it’s Irena Briganti who runs comms and f***ing hates Tucker. Sorry. She hates his guts. And it’s mutual. He doesn’t like her either. None of us do. Nobody likes Irena,” she said.

“All of a sudden you have his private text messages. You have these secret new unearthed video footage of him saying these things. It does feel like a lot of people are conspiring together to silence him,” the guest said.

A recent video leak from the “Fox Nation” set, where Tucker Carlson once hosted a program, has unintentionally sparked a heated debate. He was seen on camera complaining about Fox Network’s streaming service, which led business insiders to wonder if this would indicate a change in the ex-host’s allegiances.

Media Matters recently acquired a video of “Tucker Carlson Today” anchor Tucker Carlson having a heated discussion on the set of his popular program. The video sparked public controversy.

“The conversation appeared to coincide with Carlson’s interview with controversial influencer Andrew Tate, whose misogynistic views went viral last year, months before his arrest in Romania as part of a human trafficking and rape investigation. Although the video is not dated, Media Matters noted that Carlson’s interview with Tate aired in August 2022,” Mediaite reported.

“I don’t want to be a slave to Fox Nation, which I don’t think that people watch anyway,” Carlson said during the call, which was taking place on speaker phone. “We’re gonna — because, you know, I’m like a representative of the American media now, speaking to an exile in Romania and welcoming him back into the brotherhood of journalists.”

Carlson was in the process of getting ready for an interview, paying close attention to his clothes. It was a difficult chore for him to make sure he appeared professional and presentable.

“Yeah. It would help us out if you wore a sweater though, because we asked him not to wear a suit,” said an unidentified voice during the call. “Like he was panicking about it and we said, ‘You don’t have to. Tucker’s gonna be looking casual. That’s just how our show looks.’ Is that okay?”

“I mean, this is airing on the nighttime show, and I want it to look official. I don’t want it to be like bro talk. You know what I mean?” Carlson said.

An unidentified caller cautioned that our interview will be broadcast on Fox Nation if it went beyond 45 minutes.

“But nobody’s gonna watch it on Fox Nation. Nobody watches Fox Nation because the site sucks. So I’d really like to just put the — dump the whole thing on YouTube,” Carlson said. “But anyway, that’s just my view. I’m just frustrated with — it’s hard to use that site. I don’t know why they’re not fixing it. It’s driving me insane. And they’re like making like Lifetime movies, but they don’t work on the infrastructure of the site. Like what? It’s crazy. And it drives me crazy ’cause it’s like we’re doing all this extra work, and no one can find it.”

“It’s unbelievable, actually. I don’t know who runs that site,” Carlson continued, clearly upset.
