The Washington Post detailed in a fantastic article how over “two months after enduring humbling midterm losses, Democrats in Florida are in a state of disorder, with no clear leader, infrastructure, or consensus for rebuilding.”

Instead, I found obstacles to securing the resources and a long-standing, systemic and deeply entrenched culture resistant to change; one where individual agendas are more important than team; where self-interest dominates and bureaucracies focus on self-preservation,” Politico cites a comment that Diaz made.
By making advances into one of the most hotly contested states, Governor DeSantis has given Republicans a dependable political advantage.
Due of the erratic political climate, Democratic strategists are frantically allocating additional funding to Florida. Due to the drain on campaign funding caused by this change, states like Ohio that are hotly fought now have less financial alternatives.
While there’s no denying that Governor DeSantis is polarizing, his actions have effectively reduced the power of Democrats. There is no denying that the consequences of his leadership are evident.
