Woke? DeSantis Confirms Florida Is Where Woke Goes To Die

Governor DeSantis has distinguished himself by vehemently opposing the left’s agenda and shown a steadfast dedication to upholding conservative beliefs.

In addition to combating indoctrination in schools, resisting efforts by Disney and sports groups to politicize them, and taking a stance against the Biden administration’s tyranny, Governor DeSantis has launched an impressive campaign of victories against the far-left.

DeSantis’ momentum has even prompted him to assert with confidence that “Florida is where woke goes to die.”

The Democratic party in Florida is expanding, and they are getting more and more noticeable.

The Washington Post detailed in a fantastic article how over “two months after enduring humbling midterm losses, Democrats in Florida are in a state of disorder, with no clear leader, infrastructure, or consensus for rebuilding.”

“We’re very much at the bottom of the bottom,” According to Juan Cuba, the Miami-Dade Democratic Party’s previous head, the Post.

That is a depressing image. at least for the Democrats.

According to The Washington Post, Florida Democrats’ future is gloomy because of the state’s unstable political landscape.

After the Florida midterm elections in 2022, it will be plainly evident which party has successfully seized this once-important battleground state. Veteran Democratic strategists had hoped for a better result, but their efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, leaving them with little cause for optimism.

“The thing about Florida Democrats is we keep learning with every passing year that just when you thought you had hit bottom, you discover that there are new abysses to fall deeper and deeper into,” said Fernand Amandi, a longtime Democratic activist in the area.

Amandi continued by emphasizing that Florida “has been cast aside” in order to emphasize his argument.

“There is no plan. There’s nothing. It’s just a state of suspended animation and chaos — and, more than anything, it’s the mournful regret and acceptance that Florida has been cast aside for the long, foreseeable future.”

The severity of the crisis in Florida is increased by President Joe Biden’s failure to promise Florida any aid.

If Donald Trump returns to the political scene as the GOP contender for the 2024 general election, investing in Florida might be very profitable. This is a result that should not be disregarded.

“A Biden adviser, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe strategy, said decisions about whether a re-election campaign would invest in Florida would be based in part on the Republican nominee. Some Democrats see little hope of contesting Florida’s 30 electoral votes — only Texas and California are allotted more — in 2024 if DeSantis is the nominee, while there’s a greater opportunity if former President Donald Trump wins the GOP nod,” the article noted.

Florida Democrats were caught off guard in January when party boss Manny Diaz abruptly announced his resignation. Democratic Party staffers’ loss of health insurance coverage and this sudden defection have left Floridian Democrats scrambling to put together an increasingly difficult political agenda amid economic crisis.

“There are really no Democrats in Florida who have money or are motivated,” John Morgan, a significant supporter of Democrats in central Florida, stated.

Diaz was a nominal leader in an apathetic party, with his grim outlook on the state of leadership matching that of many other despondents. His brief time in charge served as a stark reminder of how bad things had become.

“During my tenure, I hoped to address these issues and build a united party without silos, focused exclusively on our purpose — to elect Democrats. Instead, I found obstacles to securing the resources and a long-standing, systemic and deeply entrenched culture resistant to change; one where individual agendas are more important than team; where self-interest dominates and bureaucracies focus on self-preservation,” Politico cites a comment that Diaz made.

By making advances into one of the most hotly contested states, Governor DeSantis has given Republicans a dependable political advantage.

Due of the erratic political climate, Democratic strategists are frantically allocating additional funding to Florida. Due to the drain on campaign funding caused by this change, states like Ohio that are hotly fought now have less financial alternatives.

While there’s no denying that Governor DeSantis is polarizing, his actions have effectively reduced the power of Democrats. There is no denying that the consequences of his leadership are evident.
