President Donald Trump’s political operation is jumping into the Texas Senate battle in a major way, unleashing a $10 million investment designed to boost Republican Ken Paxton while hammering Democrat James Talarico over his record on taxes.
The enormous spending commitment from MAGA Inc. represents one of the clearest signs yet that Trump and his allies intend to use their massive financial reserves aggressively ahead of the November midterms.
Half of the $10 million will reportedly be spent supporting Paxton, while the other $5 million will go toward advertising attacking Talarico.
