A new figure from Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin is putting fresh pressure on sanctuary-state politicians who insist that refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities makes their communities safer.
During a Thursday appearance on Newsmax’s The Record, Mullin offered a striking statistic about what ICE agents encounter when they track down individuals who were supposed to be transferred into federal custody.
For every warrant ICE serves, agents are apprehending another 4.2 individuals, according to Mullin.
