Disturbing testimony in the murder trial of Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy is offering jurors a deeper look at her mental state before the deaths of her three young children.

Clancy’s mother, Paula Musgrove, testified Monday as defense attorneys began calling witnesses after prosecutors spent roughly three weeks building their case.
