A 15-year-old girl has been arrested in the Netherlands after authorities say her parents were fatally stabbed inside their home in the early hours of June 18, in a case that investigators are treating as a double homicide.
According to Dutch media reports, the teenager is suspected of killing her parents, Johan Enting and Mathilda Diemel, both 53, at the family’s home in Meerstad. Authorities have not publicly identified the suspect because she is a minor, and investigators have not yet announced a possible motive.
Reports also state that the family’s golden retriever was stabbed during the violent incident.
