A dramatic new development emerged Tuesday in the murder case against accused gunman Tyler Robinson as prosecutors unveiled forensic evidence they say connects Robinson’s former roommate and romantic partner to critical items recovered after the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk.
The latest testimony came during the second day of a preliminary hearing in Provo, Utah, where state prosecutors are working to convince the court that enough evidence exists to move Robinson’s case to trial.
Robinson is accused of carrying out the deadly Sept. 10, 2025 shooting that killed Kirk during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. Prosecutors have described the attack as a calculated sniper-style assassination, and new DNA findings presented in court could become a significant piece of that narrative.
