But according to a newly released customer satisfaction survey, the chicken giant has supposedly been knocked off its throne.
The announcement generated headlines across the media landscape after Jersey Mike’s earned the highest score in the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), edging out Chick-fil-A by a single point.
Yet many industry observers are questioning whether the survey actually reflects what customers are doing—or whether it simply rewards corporate expansion strategies rather than genuine consumer enthusiasm.

The University of Michigan-developed ACSI released its latest rankings showing Jersey Mike’s earning a score of 84 while Chick-fil-A received an 83.
