MTG Says Trump Attempt Was Staged?

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Now, Greene is raising new questions.

The former Georgia lawmaker, once considered one of the strongest voices in the America First movement, reposted comments on X from a user named Trisha Hope who suggested the public still has not received the full truth about what happened that day.

The post argued that Trump himself has “shown no interest in investigating what really happened.”

It then focused on the now-famous image captured moments after the shooting.

“Now, I want you to look critically at this photo,” the post states. “They allowed President Trump to stand up, exposing multiple potential kill shots, as the flag is gently lowered.”

The post continued:

”Interesting that the other SS agents lower their heads as the perfectly time ICONIC photo is taken.”

And then added:

“Honestly, it couldn’t have been scripted better if were to have been done in a studio.”

Greene did not directly endorse every detail of the theory, but she made clear that she believes the matter deserves renewed scrutiny.

She responded:

“Extremely important post worth the read and consideration. Corey Comperatore’s family deserves to know the truth about Matthew Crooks and what happened in Butler on July 13, 2024.”

She then added another pointed remark aimed directly at the White House.

“President Trump, of all people, should be leading the charge. Why isn’t he? That’s the question.”

Her comments immediately triggered backlash online, with critics accusing Greene of fueling speculation. Supporters, however, argued that asking questions about a failed assassination attempt against a sitting president should not be controversial.

Many conservatives have long maintained that serious questions remain unanswered, including how the shooter gained access to a rooftop with a clear line of sight, why law enforcement response appeared delayed, and whether intelligence agencies missed warning signs.

Greene’s latest remarks are not the only reason she has made headlines this week.

Earlier, she also called for invoking the 25th Amendment against Trump following his comments regarding Iran, signaling an extraordinary break with the president she once fiercely defended.

“I think that is completely unacceptable for the president of the United States, for any leader of any country around the world, to call for an entire civilization to be killed,” she said.

She continued:

“In a sense, the innocent lives to be wiped out.”

“And, that really gave me grave concern for his mental capacity and that’s what the 25th Amendment is for.”

The sharp criticism stunned many in MAGA circles, where Greene had previously been seen as one of Trump’s most reliable allies.

Now, with Greene questioning both the Butler shooting narrative and Trump’s leadership, political observers are wondering whether a deeper fracture is emerging inside the America First coalition.

One thing is certain: the unanswered questions surrounding Butler have not gone away. And with a high-profile figure like Greene now demanding more transparency, pressure could continue mounting for a fuller accounting of one of the most dramatic moments in modern political history.
