A new moment involving Joe Biden is drawing attention after the former president appeared to confuse names during a formal event, adding to a growing list of verbal missteps that critics say raise serious concerns.
The incident took place Tuesday at Syracuse University Law School during a portrait unveiling ceremony. What was meant to be a routine and celebratory appearance quickly turned into something far more awkward.

The comment drew laughs from those present, but the remark immediately stood out given the context and setting.
Biden then motioned for Scruggs to come up to the stage and continued speaking as if nothing unusual had occurred.
