Sanctuary Cities Exposed… The Numbers Don’t Lie!

For months, Democratic leaders and allied media outlets zeroed in on the most visible immigration enforcement raids, amplifying images of agents in tactical gear and neighborhoods in chaos. But while the spotlight remained fixed on high-profile crackdowns, a different story was unfolding out of view—one that is now rewriting the narrative around immigration enforcement in America.

Fresh data reveals that the most effective Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations were not the ones dominating headlines. Instead, quieter, coordinated efforts in cooperative jurisdictions are producing the highest arrest totals, undermining long-standing claims from Democrats that so-called “sanctuary” policies make communities safer.

Nowhere is this contrast more apparent than in Florida and San Antonio, where enforcement numbers are surging without the theatrics seen elsewhere. Nationwide, ICE is averaging over 1,100 arrests per day in 2026—nearly double the pace recorded just a year earlier. Yet the bulk of those arrests are not coming from the cities that dominated cable news coverage.

The Miami Field Office, which oversees operations across Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, has emerged as a powerhouse. Between mid-December and early March alone, it recorded close to 10,000 arrests—outpacing major hubs like Dallas, Atlanta, and San Antonio. Notably, this surge occurred without massive federal deployments, large-scale protests, or disruptive enforcement blitzes.
