Jennings STUNS CNN: “Too Dumb” Remark Sparks Chaos!

A tense exchange on CNN NewsNight exploded into a full-blown debate over race, voter ID laws, and what many conservatives say is the left’s deeply patronizing view of minority voters.

The confrontation unfolded after Salem Radio Network host Scott Jennings challenged Democratic talking points surrounding election integrity legislation. Jennings accused Democrats of treating Black voters as incapable of meeting basic voting requirements—an argument that immediately set off panelists Charles Blow and Alencia Johnson.

The debate came as the House of Representatives narrowly passed the SAVE America Act by a 216–213 vote. The bill requires proof of citizenship to register to vote and photo identification to cast a ballot—policies that Republicans argue protect election integrity and bolster public confidence in the system.

Johnson attempted to frame the legislation as part of what she described as a broader pattern of racism tied to President Donald Trump. Jennings, however, wasn’t willing to let that claim go unchallenged.
