Democrats Just GAVE Bernie’s Ally a Seat!

For years, former President Donald Trump warned that the Democrat Party was under the control of radicals and socialists. Now, New Jersey has delivered clear proof. The state’s recent congressional primary shows that the party’s left-wing faction isn’t just growing—it’s dominating when moderates can’t unite.

Analilia Mejia, Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign manager and a vocal progressive who has called Israel’s operations in Gaza “genocide” and supports abolishing ICE, just stormed to victory in a crowded Democratic primary. Her win wasn’t a close call—it was a statement. While moderate Democrats fractured their vote across multiple candidates, Mejia capitalized and emerged as the clear winner.

Eleven Democrats competed to fill the seat vacated by new Governor Mikie Sherrill. The moderate vote was divided among four contenders, giving Mejia an opening. She secured victory with barely 30 percent of the vote—a small plurality, but enough in a split field. The establishment could not consolidate behind a single candidate, and the result was predictable. Now, Sanders’ former national political director is on track to take this suburban New Jersey district in the April general election.
