A major development has emerged in the disturbing abduction of Nancy Guthrie, the Arizona woman taken from her Pima County home last weekend. Federal authorities have now released newly recovered images and video footage that could mark a turning point in the case.
In a stunning update, the FBI confirmed it has retrieved surveillance material from Guthrie’s residence that was previously believed to be lost or destroyed. The footage reportedly shows a masked individual armed and tampering with a camera mounted at the front door of her home on the morning she vanished.
FBI Director Kash Patel addressed the breakthrough, explaining that the footage had not been immediately accessible due to significant technical complications.
“Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.”
