Sortor later summarized what he witnessed in a blunt post that has since gone viral:

They have now RUN AWAY and ABANDONED the area which has been TAKEN OVER by leftist anarchists
IT’S TIME FOR THE INSURRECTION ACT, PRESIDENT TRUMP! LOCAL POLICE HAVE CEDED CONTROL TO ANARCHISTS”**
The videos paint a stark picture of a city where law and order appears to be collapsing in real time. Protesters could be seen chanting, shouting demands at officers, and celebrating as police withdrew. Once the streets were cleared of law enforcement, rioters roamed freely.
Even more alarming, additional footage shows mobs targeting hotels they believe are housing Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Protesters were seen forcing their way inside buildings, vandalizing property, and terrorizing staff and guests.
“Antifa have breached the doors of this hotel in Minneapolis and have begun destroying the lobby,” Jack Posobiec posted on X while reporting from the city.
Despite the severity of these incidents, there was no immediate visible law enforcement response to stop the hotel invasions. The lack of intervention has raised serious questions about whether local authorities are capable, or willing, to restore order.
