The Justice Department under President Trump is launching one of its most aggressive election-integrity efforts yet, targeting decades of sloppy — and potentially intentional — voter-roll mismanagement in Democrat strongholds. A senior DOJ official confirmed to Just the News that federal prosecutors increasingly believe the maintenance failures in numerous blue states may not be accidental at all, especially after finding dead individuals, multiple registrations, and even non-citizens still listed as active voters.
According to the official, the new enforcement campaign is part of a sweeping push to hold states accountable under federal voter-list maintenance laws. For years, critics have warned that Democrat-run states allow their rolls to balloon with outdated entries, and now the DOJ appears ready to step in where local leaders refused.
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet J. Dhillon didn’t mince words about what federal investigators are uncovering. “The sloppiness of the elections in blue states is no accident. It is on purpose. It is a feature, not a bug,” she told Just the News’ streaming program — a statement that will only fuel nationwide concern about the integrity of elections in major Democrat-controlled regions.
