Harvard Research Uncovers The One Thing Parents Aren’t Doing
A major survey of more than 16,000 churchgoing adults conducted by Harvard researchers and Communio found something astonishing. The number one predictor of whether someone remains a Christian as an adult wasn’t youth group, Sunday school, or flashy modern worship services.
It was conversations.
Simple, consistent childhood conversations about faith.
Communio found that regular faith discussions during childhood were one of the strongest indicators of whether a person continues practicing Christianity later in life. Yet less than half of Christian parents today are having those talks with their kids.
