The United Nations just ran into a brick wall — and that wall’s name is Donald J. Trump.
While global elites at the UN believed they could quietly push through a new worldwide “climate tax,” the Trump administration is making it crystal clear: America isn’t paying for their green fantasy.

UN Pushes Global Shipping Tax
In London, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a UN agency, is meeting to vote on a sweeping global emissions scheme. The plan would force shipping companies to pay penalties for exceeding “carbon limits” — limits that the UN itself gets to define.
The Trump administration didn’t mince words.
“President Trump has made it clear that the U.S. will not accept any international environmental agreement that unduly or unfairly burdens the U.S. or the interest of the American people,” the administration wrote in a letter to the IMO.
But this wasn’t a polite rejection. Washington warned that if this “Net-Zero Framework” moves forward, the U.S. will retaliate.
“Should such a blatantly unfair measure go forward, our government will consider reciprocal measures so as to offset any fees charged to U.S. ships and compensate the American people for any other economic harm,” the letter continued.
