Trump’s reality check for Israel
In an interview with Daily Caller correspondent Reagan Reese, Trump laid out some uncomfortable truths about America’s most critical Middle East ally. The discussion highlighted dramatic polling shifts that show Americans — including Republicans — growing more skeptical about Israel.
According to Pew Research, unfavorable views of Israel climbed 11 points between March 2022 and March 2025. Among younger Republicans under 50, that number jumped from 35% to 50% in just three years.
“They’re gonna have to get that war over with,” Trump said flatly. “But it is hurting Israel. There’s no question about it.”
