The Trump administration filed an emergency appeal with the Supreme Court, demanding a quick ruling on presidential authority over tariffs.
This comes after a federal appeals court, in a 7-4 decision, ruled that most of Trump’s tariffs violated the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
