Psaki Turns on Christians After Church Shooting?

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

But Psaki couldn’t even wait before turning a sacred moment of mourning into a political weapon.

“Prayer is not freaking enough,” she wrote on X. “Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers.”

Psaki didn’t stop there. She went even further, taking a swipe at Donald Trump’s crime policies.

“When kids are getting shot in their pews at a catholic school mass and your crime plan is to have national guard put mulch down around DC maybe rethink your strategy,” she added.

So instead of focusing on grieving families, Psaki used the tragedy to slam prayer and attack Trump’s security policies — the very policies that have actually been driving down crime in Washington, D.C.

Her comments triggered immediate outrage from believers across the country. Many accused her of mocking faith at a time when families desperately need spiritual comfort.

Karen Hamilton, who is running for Virginia’s House of Delegates, delivered a powerful rebuke.

“I don’t expect a spiritually blind person to understand prayer, but it is real,” Hamilton wrote. “Today I attended the funeral of a baby, and often when parents are in the depths of grief, Jesus is their greatest comforter. You should investigate why that is, rather than belittling it.”

Others quickly pointed out Psaki’s hypocrisy. Washington Examiner contributor Kimberly Ross resurfaced one of Psaki’s old tweets from 2017 where she wrote: “Thoughts and prayers with @SteveScalise and officers shot. And thank you to members, hill staffers for your public service.”

Apparently, “thoughts and prayers” were acceptable when Psaki wanted to score political points. But now, she claims prayer is useless.

Journalist Megan Basham also called her out, writing:

“Your party encourages mental illness in telling men they can be women, then encourages them identify as victims when the world does not indulge their perverse fantasies, and then screams ‘prayers are not enough’ when insane transgenders shoot up schools. Prayer is vital. So is a mentally balanced populace that recognizes reality.”

Authorities later confirmed that the suspected shooter, Robert Westman, had legally changed his name to Robin in 2019 and “identifies as a female,” according to court records.

Psaki’s comments revealed far more than she intended. Instead of addressing the real causes behind these horrific tragedies, the Left would rather attack prayer and mock the faithful.

And let’s be clear — Psaki’s swipe at Trump’s crime crackdown is laughable. Washington, D.C. saw crime plummet after Trump deployed the National Guard and implemented aggressive policies to restore order. Those efforts have made the streets safer.

But because Trump’s name is attached, Psaki would rather trash it than admit it’s working.

So what’s really “not freaking enough”? It’s the Left’s obsession with undermining faith, ignoring the mental health crisis, and pushing radical gender ideology — all while refusing to confront the consequences of their own policies.

For decades, liberals have told confused young people that gender is fluid, reality is optional, and feelings matter more than truth. Then, when chaos erupts, they point fingers at prayer instead of their own destructive agenda.

The truth is simple: prayer is not the enemy. For grieving families, it is often the only thing holding them together. What’s failing America is a political class that cares more about attacking Christians and bashing Trump than about protecting children.

Jen Psaki’s tirade against prayer and her swipe at Trump’s crime plan prove exactly where the Left’s priorities lie — and faith, family, and safety are clearly not on their list.
