Fox News’ token liberal voice Jessica Tarlov has once again managed to step right into controversy. This time, she rushed to defend an illegal immigrant on social media—only to be exposed for backing someone with a horrific criminal history. Within hours, she was forced to backtrack and delete her post in embarrassment.
The incident started when video surfaced of D.C. police tackling an illegal alien on the National Mall after he tried to run from authorities. In the clip, the man shouted in Spanish, “Please! I’m not a criminal. I work here! I want to be with my family!”
Rather than waiting for facts, Tarlov instantly jumped to his defense. Wasting no time, she ran to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize law enforcement and slam President Trump’s tough-on-crime approach. She wrote:
“This doesn’t make D.C. safer. It’ll just make people not come to D.C. The cruelty is always the point.”
