President Donald Trump just dropped a political bombshell that could reshape the 2026 midterms and send shockwaves through Washington.
In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump vowed to lead a nationwide push to eliminate mail-in ballots and controversial voting machines from U.S. elections. The president declared, “I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS,” and “Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES.”
The former president didn’t stop there. He announced plans to sign an executive order before the 2026 elections to enforce this change.
“Remember, the States are merely an ‘agent’ for the Federal Government in counting and tabulating the votes. They must do what the Federal Government, as represented by the President of the United States, tells them, FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY, to do,” Trump wrote.
