It’s not often you see Washington’s most bitter Trump critics suddenly softening their tune. But that’s exactly what’s happening this week, as two of Donald Trump’s fiercest enemies are reluctantly admitting he may be on the verge of something historic.
First came Hillary Clinton. The twice-failed presidential candidate, still bitter from her humiliating defeat in 2016, suddenly shocked her base by saying she would back Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize — if he succeeds in ending the bloody war in Ukraine.
“Honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war, if he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin — something we haven’t seen, but maybe this is the opportunity — if President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize,” Clinton told host Jessica Tarlov.
She even doubled down, adding, “Because my goal here is to not allow capitulation to Putin.”
Brennan Follows Clinton’s Lead
But Clinton wasn’t alone. Obama’s disgraced CIA Director John Brennan — the very same man who spearheaded the Russia Collusion Hoax to cripple Trump’s presidency — is now following suit.
