Democrat strategist James Carville is back in the spotlight — and this time he’s predicting a political apocalypse that sounds more like a Hollywood thriller than serious political analysis.
Appearing on NewsNation with Chris Cuomo, Carville launched into a dramatic warning about Donald Trump’s future, suggesting the former President might resort to declaring martial law if the political winds turn against him in 2026.
Carville, who has built a reputation as a fiery Democratic operative, seems unwilling to accept the shifting political tides. Even after the Democrats’ stunning losses in 2024, he’s still on the airwaves spinning conspiracies.
“I think he’s going to see this big, beautiful bill is about 25 points underwater, it’s going to be 30 points underwater,” Carville told Cuomo about Trump’s legislative agenda.
