Illegal Alien Just Made a FATAL Mistake…

Sarcone acted quickly, fleeing into the hotel while dialing Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. Authorities responded fast and arrested Morales-Garcia on the spot.

This wasn’t just a fluke. Morales-Garcia has a lengthy criminal background and a history of sneaking back into the U.S. after being deported.

The Department of Justice confirmed that Morales-Garcia had already been removed from the country once before — and reentered illegally in 2021.

To make matters worse, The Times Union reported he had “an active arrest warrant in Georgia,” meaning he was already wanted in another state before attacking Sarcone.

And yes, authorities confirmed the obvious: “He is in the country illegally.”

This career criminal was slapped with charges of attempted murder, menacing, and weapon possession, according to ABC 10 TV in Albany.

It’s not a coincidence that this kind of attack happened in Albany. The city has proudly embraced its status as a sanctuary jurisdiction, where law enforcement is forbidden from cooperating with federal immigration officials.

In other words, criminals like Morales-Garcia are free to roam without fear of deportation — and the results are deadly.

Albany has repeatedly refused to help ICE track or remove dangerous individuals. These policies turn cities into safe havens for criminals who are here illegally.

Earlier this year, the Biden DOJ issued a 60-day pause on federal funding to sanctuary cities — but that’s not enough. According to the Trump administration, Albany is among 15 regions in New York still refusing to follow federal immigration law.

These soft-on-crime policies don’t protect immigrants. They shield violent predators.

Sadly, Morales-Garcia’s knife attack isn’t an isolated case. These violent crimes by illegal aliens are piling up across the country.

Just last week, Emiliano Garduno-Galvez, another illegal alien from Mexico, was charged with attempted murder for throwing a Molotov cocktail at police during the Los Angeles riots.

Earlier this month in Colorado, illegal alien Mohamed Soliman was arrested for hurling Molotov cocktails into a Jewish crowd, setting some victims on fire.

This isn’t coincidence — it’s a pattern.

The Times Union even revealed that Morales-Garcia didn’t know Sarcone was a federal prosecutor. That’s the scariest part. This man was ready to stab any innocent American walking down the street.

President Trump has been warning about this for years — and this incident proves him right.

Criminals like Morales-Garcia should never be here in the first place. Once someone breaks our immigration laws, why should we be surprised when they go on to commit more crimes?

Democrat politicians keep defending sanctuary city policies, even as Americans get hurt or killed by criminals their laws protect.

Morales-Garcia had already been deported once. Then he came back and tried to kill a U.S. Attorney. How many more innocent people have to suffer before Democrats admit their policies are a complete disaster?

Morales-Garcia will face a grand jury soon, according to WNYT. But this goes far beyond one case. It’s a warning shot to every city still clinging to failed sanctuary policies.

Thankfully, U.S. Attorney Sarcone escaped without injury — but not all Americans have been that lucky.

The Trump administration has already taken steps to hold sanctuary cities accountable. But it’s going to take more than funding pauses. It’s time to pull the plug completely.

Albany and cities like it must decide: do they want to shelter criminals, or protect Americans?

There’s no middle ground when it comes to safety.

Every day sanctuary policies stay in place, another tragedy inches closer. The knife attack in Albany should be a wake-up call — before it’s too late.
