“One officer was treated and released from the hospital for an injury sustained during the protests,” the report stated.

The Seattle Police Department confirmed a total of 22 people were booked into King County Jail on charges of assault and obstruction. A juvenile was also arrested and later released.
Instead of condemning the violent mob that attacked officers and disrupted a lawful gathering, Seattle’s Democrat Mayor Bruce Harrell astonishingly took aim at the Christian group itself. In a Saturday night statement, Harrell accused the peaceful rally-goers of inciting unrest simply by daring to assemble.
“Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities… Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction,” Harrell claimed.
He continued, “Anarchists infiltrated the counter-protestors group and inspired violence, prompting SPD to make arrests and ask organizers to shut down the event early, which they did.”
Rather than stand up for First Amendment rights, Harrell doubled down, hinting that the Parks Department may investigate future restrictions on events like this one.
Despite the hostility, the organizers of the Mayday USA tour remain steadfast in their mission. Jenny Donnelly and Ross Johnston, leaders of the grassroots movement, issued a powerful statement:
“We are currently living in a hinge of history moment that will impact generations to come. One that demands a response from every man and woman on the face of the planet.”
They emphasized the movement’s core values: protecting children, defending biological gender, honoring the sanctity of life, and fighting for the right to free speech and religious liberty.
The #DontMessWithOurKids events are being held in cities across the country, including New York, Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles. These gatherings offer prayer, worship, and resources for those recovering from abortion, trafficking, addiction, and gender confusion.
Saturday’s events echoed the lawlessness that engulfed Cal Anderson Park in 2020 when radical leftists seized control of the area and declared it the “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” (CHOP). That anarchist experiment ended in bloodshed and tragedy—yet Seattle leaders seem eager to repeat the same mistakes.
Once again, city officials have shown they will side with violent radicals over peaceful citizens who dare to challenge left-wing orthodoxy.
The violent disruption of the Christian rally in Seattle is just the latest chapter in a broader national battle. The left’s war on faith, family, and freedom is growing more aggressive by the day, but groups like #DontMessWithOurKids are refusing to back down.
As their statement makes clear, “We believe we must freely exercise our constitutional rights as Americans as we stand boldly for truth, justice, and righteousness in the public square.”
In a time when truth is under assault and mobs are given free rein, Americans of faith must remain vigilant and vocal. What happened in Seattle should alarm every citizen who cherishes liberty—and awaken the church to rise and stand.
