What was supposed to be a peaceful Christian gathering at Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park on Saturday quickly descended into chaos after far-left agitators, including Antifa and transgender activists, swarmed the scene in a violent counter-protest. The event—part of a multi-city tour called Mayday USA under the banner of the #DontMessWithOurKids movement—was eventually shut down at the request of law enforcement due to safety concerns.

Families, children, and faith leaders came together for the “Don’t Mess With Our Kids” rally, which aimed to push back against the radical left’s encroachment on children’s innocence and to promote traditional family values. The group gathered to pray, worship, and offer hope to those struggling with the moral decay infiltrating schools, media, and government institutions.
However, their message of truth and conviction was met with rage by hundreds of leftist extremists, who aggressively attempted to disrupt the event. According to The Seattle Times, the crowd was evenly split with roughly 500 attendees on both sides—but only one side brought the violence.
Seattle police arrested 23 individuals connected to the unrest. According to an official press release from SPD, officers first intervened after witnessing violent agitators hurling objects at attendees. As officers moved to arrest the offenders, more chaos erupted, resulting in several assaults against law enforcement personnel.
