The segment aired on “Anderson Cooper 360” and quickly turned into a reality check for the liberal press. These voters weren’t angry, bitter, or misled — they were informed, unapologetic, and clear-eyed in their decision.
Another panelist, Detra German, had previously voted for Hillary Clinton. She didn’t just switch teams on a whim. Her change of heart came after doing her own research and reading works by conservative commentator Candace Owens.
“It just opened my eyes to maybe he’s not this person that I have been led to believe that he was,” German explained.

German even clarified that she isn’t blindly loyal to one party.
“Now, in the future, I am not a die-hard Democrat or die-hard Republican. If there were a Democratic candidate who was more aligned for me, than I would vote Democrat.”
Her statement shows that this isn’t about blind loyalty to Trump — it’s about results, facts, and common sense.
The third voter, Seth Dawkins, came from a deeply Democratic family. But like many Americans disillusioned with establishment politics, he found Trump’s bluntness and authenticity refreshing — not offensive.
“I mean, part of it is he’s an asshole. I like — I like authenticity.”
He also praised Trump’s stance on immigration, explaining his views in no uncertain terms:
“For me, I like the border. I just don’t like the idea of someone coming here illegally and getting benefits that can serve my community. So that’s the reason why I support him on that border policy.”
These voters didn’t buckle under Van Jones’ usual soft-spoken pressure tactics. Even when the topic turned to race, all three stood their ground — unshaken and confident in their decisions.

In a political climate dominated by identity politics and media manipulation, their voices cut through the noise with refreshing clarity. They’re not interested in being told what to think. They’re watching results, not rhetoric.
And as the 2024 election approaches, their message is loud and clear: Trump delivered, and they’re ready to vote for him again.
This wasn’t just a CNN segment. It was a warning shot to Democrats: the narrative is collapsing, and the so-called “walkaway” movement isn’t slowing down. It’s gaining steam — one voter at a time.
