At the center of the controversy is Abdoul Beckwith, identified as a regional field organizer, who was secretly recorded discussing how individuals living overseas could allegedly funnel money into American political campaigns.
The footage, published by O’Keefe Media Group (OMG), includes remarks that appear to describe an arrangement in which money from foreign sources passes through another individual before reaching a political candidate.
