The Fall of a Socialist State, in which public servants put stifling voter unrest ahead of really helping their people.
Governor Kathy Hochul of New York made the following revelation on Monday: if you don’t like the work she’s doing in office, there are people watching you in case you participate in “hate speech”:
Don’t miss this! Carry faith with you everywhere with the Exclusive National Prayer Coin!
With $25 million going toward security grants and $50 million designated for local law enforcement, Hochul announces $75 million for the purpose of enhancing state security. She also declares that Americans who disseminate “hate speech” on social media will be closely watched.
“Also, we’re very focused on the data we’re collecting from surveillance efforts. What’s being said on social media platforms,” remarked Hochul at the news briefing.
“And we have launched an effort to be able to counter some of the negativity and reach out to people when we see hate speech being spoken about on online platforms. Our media analysis, our social media analysis unit, has ramped up its monitoring of sites to catch incitement to violence; direct threats to others, and all this is in response to our desire, our strong commitment, to ensure that not only do New Yorkers be safe, but they also feel safe because personal security is about everything for them,” she added.
She does not make clear if she intends to utilize this information for any malicious purposes, such as tracking voting records, contesting election outcomes, or making fun of prominent figures, including herself.
A man was jailed for conspiring to use electoral memes. After Mackey posted a meme during the 2016 election, a federal jury convicted him guilty of plotting to restrict people’s ability to vote. Seven months is a sentence.
Before being imprisoned, Douglass Mackey—famous for his meme postings—gave Tucker Carlson an exclusive interview.
ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!
“The First Amendment is done,” Carlson wrote a piece on X. He is a co-founder of the Daily Caller and the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“If someone had even told you even ten years ago that you could be indicted by the federal government and go to prison for ten years for making fun of Hillary Clinton on social media, you would not have believed it,” Carlson stated before to speaking with Mackey. “It’s a free country. We have free speech.”
Remarkably, despite Mackey’s conviction for violating Americans’ right to vote, the federal authorities was unable to identify a single person who was impacted by the meme. This is due to the fact that the phone number listed in the meme was invalid.
The emphasis on keeping an eye on social media sites to stop “hate speech” has raised worries in New York. How come? Well, in part because it might be arbitrary to define what constitutes hate speech. This brings up a crucial query: Do conservative Americans have no legal options when they encounter hate speech online? It appears that rather than taking direct action to address this issue, the Democratic Party has presented legislation to protect particular groups, frequently doing so under the pretense of “social justice.” Is this, however, a just strategy? Numerous people contend that it isn’t. Ultimately, shouldn’t justice be impartial toward individual goals?
It’s time to disband New York’s Ministry of Truth, much like the Department of Homeland Security’s botched attempt during the Biden administration.
“So New York is creating a Ministry of Truth to clamp down on opinions that are deemed unacceptable by the regime. Is it gonna be run by Nina Jankowicz and Yoel Roth?” The creator of LibsofTikTok, Chana Raiyak, made a post on X.
Every American should be skeptical of any justification for monitoring and censorship offered by these illegal, dishonest, and despotic officials. Our constitutional liberties provide the strongest defense, but these public servants don’t seem to care anymore.
