During the 2022 election, former gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake emerged as a national figure, impressing many with her poised campaign. However, on Election Day, Maricopa County officials reportedly sent the wrong-sized paper to voting precincts, effectively hindering the voting process in deep-red districts. Despite this, Democrats managed to secure over 50% of the votes on Election Day, even though turnout for Democrats was reportedly only 17%. As if that wasn’t enough to raise eyebrows, officials also allegedly added 25,000 ballots into Maricopa County’s total after Election Day without adequate explanation.
