Chris Christie launched his presidential campaign by harshly criticizing the previous government, including former President Donald Trump and his family, in front of the public. Trump, though, resisted Christie’s attack and continued to stand his position.
Christie’s campaign launch includes calling Trump a “lonely, self-consumed mirror hog,” in an effort to appeal to conservatives and distinguish himself from the outgoing president.
Former President Trump maintained his unwavering faith in the face of the criticism. Instead, he replied by posting a deftly edited video of Christie at a town hall session on the Truth Social website. The clever turn? Christie is now shown in the backdrop at a buffet, carrying a dish of delectable food with assurance.
WATCH:
“How many times did Chris Christie use the word SMALL? Does he have a psychological problem with SIZE? Actually, his speech was SMALL, and not very good,” Trump wrote.
“It rambled all over the place, and nobody had a clue of what he was talking about. Hard to watch, boring, but that’s what you get from a failed Governor (New Jersey) who left office with a 7% approval rating and then got run out of New Hampshire. This time, it won’t be any different!”

In a crowded field of candidates, including well-known figures like Trump and DeSantis, Christie is taking a risk to carve out a special place for himself. He is not afraid of the challenge offered by leading candidates like Pence.
