The incident involved the fatal stabbing of three-year-old Julian Woods in what authorities describe as a “random” attack. Ellis, showing little regard for the gravity of the situation, smiled broadly as she faced multiple serious charges, including murder and attempted murder.
Ellis, who appeared in the Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas, was notably smiling and almost laughing as Judge Nancy Margaret detailed the charges against her. These charges encompass murder, aggravated murder, attempted murder, felonious assault, endangering children, tampering with evidence, and misdemeanor theft.
