Hollywood actor Will Ferrell, best known for his comedic roles, made headlines recently after being spotted at an NHL game in an unusual and somewhat disheveled appearance. Dressed as his iconic character Buddy the Elf from the 2003 Christmas hit Elf, Ferrell’s demeanor was far from the cheerful and innocent persona of the beloved movie character.
Instead of the jovial and festive spirit Buddy is known for, Ferrell was seen with a beer in hand, a cigarette hanging from his lips, and sporting a rugged five-o-clock shadow. This striking departure from the character’s wholesome image left fans and attendees at the game stunned.

FanDuel Sports Network reporter Carrlyn Bathe, who was reporting live from the stadium, caught up with Ferrell during the game. Known to be a diehard Los Angeles Kings fan and a frequent visitor to their games, Ferrell’s appearance was notably out of character. “We’ve never ever seen him like this,” Bathe remarked, describing his “disgruntled” look.
