A growing fight inside the America First movement is exposing deep divisions over foreign policy, free speech, and the influence of powerful advocacy groups in Washington.
The latest dispute erupted after attorney and commentator Will Chamberlain publicly called for a federal investigation into the Quincy Institute, a foreign policy think tank that has consistently argued for a less interventionist approach to U.S. military engagement abroad.
Instead of retreating, the organization responded by claiming that the campaign against it is designed to silence voices questioning the expanding relationship between the United States and Israel’s defense establishment.
