White House LOCKDOWN After Rapid Gunfire

Chaos erupted just steps from the White House on Saturday evening after a gunman opened fire near the executive mansion, sending Secret Service agents, reporters, and bystanders scrambling for cover in a terrifying scene that unfolded while President Donald Trump was inside the White House complex.

Authorities later identified the shooter as Nesire Best. According to multiple reports, the suspect was shot and killed after allegedly firing several rounds toward the White House perimeter. Law enforcement officials confirmed that Secret Service agents responded immediately and neutralized the threat within moments.

One civilian was reportedly struck during the exchange of gunfire. Officials have not yet released details about the victim’s condition.

Fox News reported that the suspect was already known to Washington, D.C. law enforcement and had previous interactions with authorities. The network also stated that the man brandished a handgun and fired toward the White House on three separate occasions before agents returned fire.
