On Sunday night, Trump posted the letter, which is dated Dec. 21, 1987, on Truth Social.

The former First Lady Pat Nixon, who was married to the 37th president, expressed love for the now-famous real estate magnate in letters to her husband after seeing him on “The Phil Donahue Show.”
“I did not see the program, but Mrs. Nixon told me that you were great on the Donahue Show,” Nixon wrote.
He added, “As you can imagine, she is an expert on politics and she predicts that whenever you decide to run for office you will be a winner!”
Trump’s next book, “LETTERS TO TRUMP,” which is appropriately titled, will include letters written by well-known public personalities including Richard Nixon. The collection was made public by the President himself, who hailed it as a must-read that is sure to enthrall the nation.
“My new book is almost here!” Trump commented. “In 1987, President Richard Nixon wrote to me, that when I decide to run for office I will be victorious.”
He teased, “Read this letter, and many, many more in LETTERS TO TRUMP!”
