Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem appeared on Jesse Watters Primetime Tuesday night and sent a clear, unmistakable message to California Governor Gavin Newsom: federal law enforcement is moving in, and arrests are already underway.
Speaking candidly, Noem outlined the early results of a sweeping federal surge operation that began in Minnesota and is now rapidly expanding nationwide. What investigators uncovered, she said, is not just routine fraud—but an enormous, organized scheme that drained hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars and exploited America’s most vulnerable citizens.
The operation followed alarming evidence of widespread abuse within taxpayer-funded programs. According to Noem, DHS deployed more than 2,000 additional ICE and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents into Minnesota over a 48-hour period once red flags became impossible to ignore.
What federal agents discovered was staggering.
Noem revealed that illegal aliens and organized criminal networks siphoned vast sums from Medicaid and other assistance programs meant to serve disabled Americans, autistic children, and individuals requiring developmental services. Instead of helping those in need, the stolen funds were allegedly used to bankroll lavish lifestyles—luxury homes, expensive travel, and personal enrichment.
