Global pro-Palestine demonstrations have broken out in the wake of the horrific terrorist assaults in Southern Israel on October 7 that claimed over 1,400 lives. America’s predicament has gotten worse, especially in the past several days following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement that his country’s ground invasion of the Gaza Strip has officially begun.
Hundreds of pro-Palestine protestors blocked Grand Central Station in New York City on Friday, shouting “ceasefire now” and “let Gaza live.” Many Jews participated in the Grand Central rally, which led to hundreds of arrests.
Thousands of protestors block traffic on the famous Brooklyn Bridge as massive rallies take over New York City. The New York Post reports that the gathering is projected to be 7,000 strong, which reinforces the demand for reform.
Protesters brandished anti-Israel placards, some of which included “F**k Israel” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” according to the report.
San Francisco demonstrators held ardent rallies and successfully blocked roads and highways while yelling “Free Palestine” with great intensity. Some protestors went so far as to call for Israel’s total collapse as a state.
Protests of unprecedented proportions broke out in several major U.S. cities, such as Chicago and Philadelphia, and numerous more cities joined in.
As Israel is ready to invade Gaza on foot, protests became more intense. President Biden and other world leaders call on the Israeli government to reevaluate the full-scale operation. As an alternative, limited raids are suggested.
In a statement on Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alluded to a more extensive incursion, demonstrating that Israel has been adhering to the course of action outlined in this report.
