WATCH: Tom Homan DEMOLISHES Actress For Defending Illegals!

“I just want to say that I’m so sorry,” Gomez sobbed in the now-viral clip. “All my people are getting attacked! The children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything. I promise.”

The video, clearly designed to stir emotion, quickly spread across liberal circles, with many on the Left rallying behind her. But there was just one problem—Gomez’s narrative was as flawed as it was dramatic.

For starters, Gomez is far from the victim she portrays. A billionaire entertainer, she was born in Texas to an Italian mother and a Mexican father who left early in her childhood. Despite her attempt to identify as an immigrant in distress, she is an American citizen with no direct ties to the deportations she’s crying over.

This type of performative activism may have worked in 2017 when Hollywood elites could garner praise for their anti-Trump tirades. Back then, figures like late-night host Jimmy Kimmel managed to turn public sentiment by using emotional pleas against Republican policies. Kimmel famously fought against Trump’s efforts to repeal Obamacare by exploiting his own child’s medical condition, falsely claiming that Republicans sought to deny coverage to children with pre-existing conditions.

“Before 2014, if you were born with congenital heart disease like my son was, there was a good chance you’d never be able to get health insurance because you had a pre-existing condition. You were born with a pre-existing condition,” Kimmel claimed at the time.

Of course, this wasn’t true, but it didn’t stop the media from running with it. Ultimately, RINOs like John McCain seized the moment to tank Trump’s repeal-and-replace plan.

But the political landscape has changed. Americans have wised up to these emotional manipulations, and the facts are now working against the Left’s narrative.

KICK OUT The Cold and Say Hello to The Handyheater! Warming Any Spot INSTANTLY!

Enter Tom Homan, former Acting ICE Director and no-nonsense enforcer of immigration law. In a blunt response, Homan shut down Gomez’s theatrics, reminding her that immigration laws are not dictated by Hollywood’s emotions.

“If they don’t like it, then go to Congress and change the law,” Homan told Fox News host Martha MacCallum.

His point was simple yet powerful: mass deportations are happening because President Trump was elected to enforce immigration laws. Polls consistently show that a majority of Americans support stricter immigration policies, and Trump is delivering on his promise to secure the border and remove those who have no legal right to stay.

“We’re going to do this operation without apology. We’re gonna make our community safer,” Homan declared. “It is all for the good of this nation. And we’re gonna keep going. No apologies. We’re moving forward.”

Homan’s response serves as a reminder that policy should be based on facts, not feelings. While Gomez and other celebrities may continue their grandstanding, the reality is that Trump’s immigration policies are backed by the will of the American people. And no amount of Hollywood tears will change that.
