A journalist openly thanked President Donald Trump for bringing law and order back to the streets of Washington, D.C.—and she backed it up with a terrifying personal story.
Iris Tao, a correspondent for NTD News, recounted an ordeal that stunned the press room into silence. She revealed that two years ago, she was violently assaulted in the heart of the nation’s capital, proof of just how far the city had descended under failed Democrat leadership.
Tao explained that she was walking in broad daylight when a masked thug suddenly targeted her. “He pointed a gun in my face,” she said, demanding she surrender her belongings—“my phone, wallet, my laptop, and everything else.”
Instead of complying, Tao resisted. That’s when the criminal turned brutal. “When I refused, he used the butt of his handgun to strike me across the face, the cheek — some would say pistol whip — before running away,” she told the room. The violent attack left her badly shaken and her family traumatized.
