WATCH: Protester Grabs Flashbang… OOPS!

Minneapolis was thrown into turmoil this past weekend after a border patrol agent fatally shot a man who allegedly resisted federal law enforcement. The incident has sparked outrage and drawn attention to the city’s ongoing struggles with violent anti-police demonstrations.

Authorities identified the man as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti of South Minneapolis. Reports indicate Pretti refused to comply with officers and became confrontational before being shot by federal agents early Saturday morning.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that Pretti was carrying a Sig Sauer P320 pistol along with two fully loaded magazines. “He did not notify law enforcement officers that he was armed,” one source said, highlighting the potential danger to officers during the encounter.

Following the shooting, tensions escalated as crowds gathered around federal vehicles in protest. Agitators clashed with agents, forcing them to deploy non-lethal munitions to maintain control. Flashbangs and tear gas were used to disperse the increasingly aggressive crowd.
