In what can only be described as a disturbing sign of the times, a panel of left-wing comedians on CNN’s late-night comedy show mocked the growing wave of violence against Tesla dealerships and vehicle owners. The attacks—many involving arson and even explosives—have rocked communities across several states, yet CNN’s guests treated the chaos like the punchline of a joke.
The segment took a dark turn when far-left activist and so-called “comedian” Amber Ruffin, known more for political rants than actual humor, made a chilling comment in response to Elon Musk’s involvement in conservative judicial races. “When do we riot?” she asked, to the delight of the live studio audience who responded with laughter and applause.

Things went from bad to worse when “Reno 911” actor Michael Ian Black joined in the twisted banter. “Here’s what I’ve been doing: I’ve been going around to random Tesla dealerships and lighting cars on fire,” he said, before awkwardly backpedaling. “I just realized: There’s a good chance I’ll get arrested for saying I was lighting cars on fire at a Tesla dealership. I didn’t do that, I wouldn’t do that.”
