Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unleashed another fiery, unhinged tirade over the weekend while campaigning for far-left New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani — a self-described communist Muslim born in Uganda who has proudly admitted he wants to raise property taxes based on race.
Mamdani, who represents the extreme socialist wing of the Democratic Party, is running against former Governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa. His campaign has become a magnet for the far-left movement that seeks to remake New York City into a socialist experiment — with AOC and Bernie Sanders leading the charge.
Top Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and New York Governor Kathy Hochul, have thrown their support behind Mamdani, despite his openly radical agenda. His campaign slogan, “New York Is Not for Sale,” is marketed as an anti-billionaire message — but in reality, it’s a direct attack on private property, wealth, and anyone who dares to succeed in New York.
