Representative Mary Miller sends a critical message to all Americans.
The Republican Congresswoman from Illinois resorted to social media to warn the public about the risks of unchecked, mass illegal immigration. She emphasized the importance of being prepared to exercise one’s Second Amendment rights.
“Americans must remain vigilant and prepared to defend ourselves and our families since Joe Biden has opened our southern border and we have no idea who has crossed into our country,” she said.
“The Second Amendment is the great safeguard of liberty & security,” she added. “Never give up your 2A rights.”
Miller’s words are especially topical as the surge of undocumented immigrants into the United States continues, with authorities having little understanding of their personal or criminal histories.
CNN reported in August that a caravan of migrants, comprising those from Uzbekistan and other countries, had successfully crossed the border into the United States. This illicit infiltration was made possible by a human trafficker with ties to the infamous Islamic State, often known as ISIS.
According to Fox News, Republican Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas has issued a forceful warning about the tremendous national security concerns posed by the unguarded border, calling it the most serious terrorist threat to the US in recent years.
“So far this year, the Border Patrol has encountered 146 known foreign terrorists attempting to cross the southern border — a nearly 50 percent increase compared to last year’s 98 encounters,” Cotton stated this in a recent article.
“Furthermore, the number of individuals who successfully evaded detection remains unknown,” he went on to say. “Although attempts by terrorists to infiltrate our borders have been persistent, never before have we encountered such a significant surge in their activities.”

“During the previous administration, an average of only three foreign terrorists attempted to cross our southern border illegally each year,” he added.
Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna expresses worries about the impending consequences of illegal immigration.
“According to DHS in 2022, there were over 600,000 illegals that got away,” she wrote on X. “How many of those 600,000 individuals are terrorists? This year USBP has encountered 146 known foreign terrorists attempting to cross the southern border?”
Former President Donald Trump has issued a warning about possible Islamist attacks as a result of the Biden administration’s failure to protect the border.
“The same people that raided Israel are pouring into our once beautiful USA, through our TOTALLY OPEN SOUTHERN BORDER, at Record Numbers. Are they planning an attack within our Country?” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
According to a recent NBC story, the Border Patrol captured 160 people last month who were identified as potential matches to people on the U.S. As of July 2023, the Terrorist Screening Dataset is available. Furthermore, when U.S. citizens are included in the dataset, the total number of apprehensions rises to 216.
