For months, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has found himself facing growing scrutiny over a massive welfare fraud scandal that continues to generate headlines across the country. But while congressional investigators and state lawmakers push for answers, an entirely different battle has erupted online—and it involves the governor’s daughter, Hope Walz, and Vice President JD Vance.
The latest chapter unfolded on social media, where Hope Walz posted a series of videos criticizing Vance and questioning his political future. The 24-year-old social worker, who has built a following on TikTok, accused the vice president of dishonesty and suggested he would never reach the White House.
She also challenged Vance to a half marathon alongside her father, implying the race could serve as an opportunity for the two men to settle their differences face-to-face.
